    Swim Team Week 2

    We successfully completed the first week of practice!  For those who haven't made it yet, we look forward to seeing you this week.  Bring a friend as registration is not closed!  Speaking of registration, it is very important that all swimmers are registered this week. Now on to the updates:

     

    1. Coach Melissa will be using swim fins for drills this week.  If you have fins, please bring them.  If you do not and are interested in getting some, D&J Sports has them for $25.  I think they are even cheaper on Amazon.  There are a couple pair available at the pool, but they are sized to some of our younger swimmers (like 7-9 year olds).  This equipment is not mandatory, but will definitely be helpful for drills.  

    (Check with Coach Melissa if you have a 6&under swimmer before buying as they may not need them at all.)

     

    2.  D&J sports will be at the pool on Friday from 4:30-6pm.  If you are wanting to try on the team suit, or need anything such as goggles, swim caps, etc.. you will have that option then.  They will be in the back pavilion. 

     

    3.  Don't forget to check the sign-up sheet for snack Wednesday.  Snack does not have to be anything big: applesauce, granola bars, fruit snacks, trail mix, goldfish crackers, etc...  

     

    4.  If you have not paid your dues, get them in to Brian Taylor sometime this week. 

     

    5.  Please continue to collect sponsors!  Brian Taylor is the go to person on the money from those as well.  Thank you for all your help in asking the community to support the team!
