Good evening CUDA parents! 

Saturday, June 18, the Divisional swim meet will be held at Campbell Middle School. Did you ever wish this meet could be inside in the air conditioning? Well, this is our chance! Due to unexpected circumstances, all six teams have to pitch in to have the swim meet at the facility. It would be great if each family could pitch in $10 to help with this unforeseen expense. Please consider helping us reach our goal of $600 to cover our part for the meet to be at this venue.

If you plan on your swimmer(s) participating at the Divisional swim meet, please declare them in Swimtopia by Monday night, 9 PM; if you are not planning on them swimming please let us know by clicking "not attending" in Swimtopia. This is important as we need to strategically place our best swimmers in their best events to have the best chance to win the meet! CUDA entries have to be reported on Tuesday to seed the races. Each team can only enter an A relay, as well, so we need to know for sure who will be there to maximize points.

Remember, this week's practice is for those CUDA swimmers who will be competing in Divisional meet, Red, White & Blue or Ponderosa. Practice times are Intermediate (10 and under), 6-7 PM and Advanced (11 and up) 7-8. Our helpers will not be available for non-swimmers or lane line huggers; if you swimmer has successfully completed races in 25 free and 25 back, we need them at practice and Divisionals. The swim meets we have left are fast-paced and very competitive. If you have any questions about whether or not your swimmer should participate, please just shoot me an email. 

We had so awesome swimming this weekend! Saturday we won the meet against Concord Bridge and the CCRA Barracudas placed 3rd overall for small teams, at Pentathlon with only 15 swimmers! CUDA Pentathlete award went to Porter Flannery (5th Place), Dean Waldron (5th Place), Charlie Flannery (2nd Place), and Anna Lundquest (5th Place). This weekend we had so many swimmers drop times at both swim meets. You know who's beaming with pride? THIS COACH! Thanks to all the parents who make this "The Best Little Swim Team in Texas"!
