Good morning parents!

Our first mid-season invitational meet is coming up in less
than two weeks. This year’s Sprint Sizzler Invitational will be held at the Cy-Fair ISD Natatorium June 5^th and 6^th (Sunday and Monday). For
those unfamiliar with invitationals, they are a bit different from our usual
dual meets. Instead of just two teams, there will be swimmers from many NWAL teams. To be able to participate in the meet swimmers need to have gone as fast or faster than a specific time for each particular stroke (a qualifying time). The qualifying times are posted on the bulletin board, as is a list of those members of our team who have already qualified. Swimmers 13 and above automatically qualify. You can find many more details in the meet announcement on our team website.

If your swimmer has qualified for the meet and would like to participate, there is a $7 fee for each event. If they have only qualified for one event that is the only event they can sign up for. If they have qualified for two or more events, then they are allowed to swim in as many events as they would like (with a few exceptions for longer events). If we have enough swimmers in the meet, we may be able to have relays ($12 per relay team), so indicate your interest when signing up.  Payment can be made to the team through Zelle or directly to Ray Wade at the pool.

Meet entries are now open, and you can begin signing up as soon as you’d like.  Final entries will be due this Saturday night at 8 PM, so there is still one more meet to get those qualifying times!  We will send out a note Saturday afternoon to all those who have qualified as a reminder.
