Hi parents!

Thank you all for coming out yesterday to our Registration Rally and Meet the Coach! We’re excited to get things started next month. There still time to register: https://ccracudas.swimtopia.com. You can pay check or cash at our first practice on April 16^th, or pay credit via Zelle following the directions on the site.

We had lots of questions about the practices. This year we are breaking up practice time by proficiency in Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper. (If you are a brand new to the team, please attend a New Swimmer Evaluation on either 4/9 or 4/11, anytime between 4:30-6 so we can appropriately place you.)

Gold: Swimmers that are legal in all 4 strokes and will focus on speed and endurance

Silver: Swimmers that can swim independently and are striving to become legal in butterfly and breaststroke.

Bronze: Swimmers that can successfully complete 25 meters (free or back), and will focus on building stroke technique

Copper: Swimmers that are not yet independent in the water

Swimmers will have the ability to “graduate” to different practices once they’re capable. My goal is to have everyone able to successfully race for Time Trials on May 4^th!

Starting April 16^th until May 31^st, practices will be as follows:

4:30-5:30: Gold

5:30-6:00: Copper

6:00-6:45: Both Silver and Bronze

Starting June 4^th, practices will move to mornings:

8:00-9:00: Gold

9:00-9:45: Silver/Bronze

9:45-10:15: Copper

**We will also have a 5:30-6:30 open lane if morning practices are not feasible.

Some of you also expressed interest in private Swim Lessons. I will offer lessons on Saturdays and Mondays starting April 15th through April 29th; once the pool opens May 4th, I'll switch to Mondays only or by appointment on the weekends.
