We are approaching the end of the week with lots of different events.  This is where the fun of the season really starts!  Below are some of the important pieces of information you will need before the end of the week.

THURS: If you will not be at time trials on Saturday, find Katie Rohe, Julie Lundquist or Lauren Flanery.  One of them will help you get times for your swimmers tomorrow.  We have to have these times to enter the swimmers into the meet for next Saturday.

FRI: Picture Day!  We will start individual pictures at 4:15 on Friday.  Please bring your order form filled out and CASH OR CHECK for the proper amount.  Our team photo will be taken at 5:30.  Please be there so we have as many of our team swimmers as possible in the team photo.  We have attached another order form to the email in case you need it.

SAT:  Time Trials Day.  This is also known as a mock meet.  We will run this like a regular meet and swim the events in the orders that they will be swam at a regular meet.  The only difference is that we will not swim relays.  A Parent Volunteer Sheet will be on the bulletin board by the bathrooms tomorrow.  For the most part we are going to need help with timing, scribing, and keeping track of the swimmers.  We will not be running concessions as we will be getting ready for our 50th Anniversary party later that afternoon, so please pack a snack for your swimmers and bring plenty of water.  

Finally, the pool is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this weekend.  We have a few events that we would like to invite you to participate in.  The first event is a poker tournament.  It is Friday night and starts at 6 pm.  If you reply to this email, we can pass along more information.  There will be a signup for it tomorrow on the bulletin board as well.  

The other event is the actual 50th Celebration Party.  You are invited to join us Saturday from 3-8p for swimming, food, and fun.  There will also be a silent auction and several raffles.  Come see what the pool has meant to many families over the years and consider making it part of your family's summer tradition!
